Melissa Love
BOARD CHAIR
Melissa Love is an entrepreneur, executive director, strategic advisor, operations consultant, wellness coach, certified energy healer, and devoted mother of three. She brings more than 20 years of professional experience across corporate human resources, entrepreneurship, organizational development, wellness, and nonprofit leadership.
Earlier in her career, Melissa spent 10 years as a corporate HR professional before going on to establish and lead multiple organizations. She is the founder of MOSAIC Institute, a strategic services firm; RESILIENCE, two thriving bi-coastal fitness studios that served more than 10,000 clients; and The MOSAIC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the professional and personal development of veterans and active-duty military.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from James Madison University and has completed specialized training through the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Soul of Yoga Institute, Spiritual Arts Institute, and other holistic wellness programs. She is a certified yoga teacher, certified meditation teacher, certified aura therapist, and integrative and holistic health practitioner. With more than 5,000 hours of lifetime meditation practice and over 500 wellness classes taught to clients around the world, Melissa brings deep experience in personal transformation, healing, leadership, and community-building.

Isaac Lee
USMC AVIATION OFFICER (R) EXECUTIVE
Isaac Lee is a retired United States Marine Corps officer, aviator, business executive, and author with more than 30 years of leadership experience. During his military career, he completed seven operational deployments, including four combat deployments, and served in a variety of leadership roles, including Commanding Officer of an operational squadron and Deputy Director of Operations for Third Marine Aircraft Wing.Since transitioning from military service in 2017, Isaac has held executive leadership positions in privately held and private equity-backed companies, focusing on operational excellence, organizational growth, and strategic execution. He is also the founder of Ready Room Consulting LLC and the award-winning author of Hangar 4: A Combat Aviator's Memoir.
A dedicated advocate for the military and veteran community, Isaac has served on the boards of multiple veteran-focused nonprofit organizations in the San Diego area. He brings expertise in leadership, governance, strategic planning, financial oversight, and organizational development. Isaac lives in San Diego with his wife and children.

Michelle Mansukhani
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Michelle Mansukhani is a dedicated community volunteer and passionate advocate for veterans, first responders, and their families. She believes deeply in giving back to those who have sacrificed so much in service to others and is committed to helping ensure they receive the support, recognition, and resources they deserve.As a member of the Board of Directors for Project Restore Hope, Michelle actively supports the organization’s mission through community outreach, fundraising initiatives, event planning, and relationship building. She is especially passionate about creating opportunities that bring communities together in support of veterans and first responders while raising awareness of the challenges they may face.
Michelle’s heart for service, compassion for others, and commitment to making a positive impact drive her work with Project Restore Hope. She is proud to be part of an organization dedicated to restoring hope, strengthening lives, and honoring those who have served and protected our communities.
Michelle lives in Solana Beach, California, and enjoys spending time with her family, staying active through walking, yoga, and Pilates, and volunteering in support of causes that strengthen her community.

Guy McDermott
USN SEAL (R) VFW COMMMANDER
Guy McDermott is a retired United States Navy SEAL, former firefighter/paramedic, nonprofit leader, and veteran advocate with 24 years of military service and more than 30 years of experience leading in high-pressure service environments. A former enlisted service member who rose to become a commissioned officer, Guy brings a mission-focused leadership style shaped by combat, operational discipline, and a lifelong commitment to serving others.Following his military career, Guy served for six years as a firefighter/paramedic in Glendale, California, continuing his work on the front lines of crisis response and public service. He is the co-founder of Next Peak, a veteran-focused nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans and their families find healing, connection, purpose, and wholeness after service.
As Commander of VFW Post 5431 in Solana Beach, Guy has helped lead an effort to reimagine the post as a community-based healing center for veterans, expanding access to physical therapy, mental health support, meditation, recovery meetings, suicide prevention programming, and other holistic services. Through Next Peak and Project Restore Hope, he is working to create a model that can strengthen VFW posts, restore community, and help veterans reconnect with life after service.
